We are asking all 2026/27 skaters, coaches, officials, and volunteers to register for their Speed Skating Canada membership in IceReg before the start of the 2026/27 speed skating season. Don’t forget to click the Submit & Complete button when you reach the cart. No payment is required in IceReg.
Once you are registered in IceReg, please pay fees directly to the Yellowknife Speed Skating Club before your child starts their program.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque (payable to the Yellowknife Speed Skating Club), or e-transfer (email: ykspeedskating.regs@gmail.com, password: yellowknife, subject: skater’s name and program).
Fees can be found under each program’s webpage at https://ykspeedskating.com/programs/. Please note that these fees include all Speed Skating Canada and Speed Skating NWT fees identified during the registration process.

Refund Policy:
a. Full refund before October 31st
b. Between October 31st and December 1st – 50% refund
c. After December 1st – No refund
Rental Skates:
The Yellowknife Speed Skating Club has rental skates available for use for the speed skating season. Skate rentals are $250/season with a $125 refund at the end of the season, if the skates are retuned in good condition. Skate rental nights will occur at the start of the season on Sunday, September 13th from 3:30 to 5:00 pm and on Monday, September 14th from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.
