YK speedskating is doing a Purdy’s Chocolates fundraiser! Stock up on your favourite Purdy’s Winter fundraising treats AND support speedskating!

GROCERY BAGING
YK speedskating is also signed up to do grocery bagging at the coop on January 3, 2025. Save the date – more information to come
RENTAL SKATES
A rental fee of $125 is charged for the use of the skates for the skating season. with a $125 deposit that will be retuned at the end of the season.
Thanks to everyone who was able to come out to this and pick up skates. If people were unable to make either rental skate night please email ykspeedskating@gmail.com and we can try to arrange another time.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Please reach out to ykspeedskating@gmail.com if you are interested in helping out with the YK Speedskating Club. We are currently looking for the following roles to be filled:
- Assistance with the NWT Champs. If you are interested in learning more about speedskating and volunteering at the NWT Championships please let us know.
- Fundraising coordinator: we are still looking for a fundraising coordinator. If you have any skills in fundraising, please let us know.
- Mat cart repair: we are looking for someone to help us provide some repair work to the mat carts. If you have any carpentry skills or like fixing things, please reach out.
