On December 5th, the Club will be hosting its first meet of the season so come cheer our skaters on! The Ability Meet involves all ages and abilities of skaters: our youngest skaters (under age 6 as of June 30th, 2015) are free and skate only during the lunch hour in the “Rocket’ category. The fee for all other skaters is $15 and will have races throughout the day.
Please complete the registration form and if your skater is in SS2, SS3 or Competitive groups, return the form and payment to Karin Clark, Myra Bowerman or Liesbeth van Blarikom (Executive members) who are generally at the rink during class times. Skaters in LTS and SS1 should submit their registration form and payment (Rocket category is free!) to Coaches Alex or Tasha. The deadline for registration forms (and payment) is November 22nd.
Many volunteers are required to run this meet (set-up, timing, recording, lap-counting, water, runners, etc) so we need YOU!! Training and direction will be provided. Please contact Martin Rourke if you can help. To help keep our wonderful volunteers, coaches and officials energized and happy throughout the day food is provided. Please contact Liesbeth If you can help by bringing some tasty food.
