If you need skates for the camp, you can try on and pick up skates on Monday, August 19 and Tuesday, August 20 from 7:00 – 8:00 pm each night. Pick up dates and times for the regular season will be announced shortly!
Skates are typically for SSII and SSIII skaters. We are excited to announce we just received 10 brand new pairs of skates sized 35 to 40! We also have limited smaller sizes suitable for SSI although they are not required at this level.
Skates are rented from our locker room at the Multiplex (back room of the Ed Jeske ice surface). Please contact ykspeedskating@gmail.com if this scheduled time does not work and you need to make other arrangements (for the camp).
The cost of skates for the camp is $25. The rental fee for the season is $125 for the season plus a damage deposit of $125 (to be returned at the end of the season). If you are renting skates for NWTSSA camp, you can arrange to pay the additional fees and keep them for the year.
